Who We Are:
Animal Connections is a non-profit 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization that provides pet adoptions in Virginia. Our rescue group matches homeless dogs with forever homes through our Foster-to-Adoption program. Our foster families are located in Charlottesville and the surrounding area.
Although we are not formally affiliated with any particular animal shelter, many of our rescued animals come from high-kill or local shelters. There are many wonderful dogs waiting for good homes. They most often can be seen on weekends in Charlottesville at Pet Supplies Plus (on Rt. 29 S and Greenbrier Dr.), Pet Valu (on Pantops), or other special events locations.
